and why?

My daughter is 13 months and I don't plan on stopping until she is done.

Both of my children self weaned.
When they were done they were done.

That's what I want to do . How old were they!? My son nursed until 2, but I had to wean him off

Son #1 self-weaned at 27 months. He literally told me he didn't need it any more (yes, he was that verbal). Son #2 was almost three and I told him they were broken. By then I had been nursing or pregnant for over six years and I was done.

1 mom liked this
Ds never nursed but I pumped for the first 6 weeks until we discovered he couldn't tolerate breastmilk. DD started refusing to nurse at 8 weeks and I got nothing when I pumped with her. She stopped nursing completely around 12 weeks. She refused to nurse during the day and would only nurse right before bed. We plan to start trying for number 3 soon and I am determined to make it work the third time.

14 months, with this one I'll be going for 18 months or 2 years. No more than that for me though.

16 months. My son didn't have control of his mouth and throat and was unable to properly breast feed.

I plan to wean at 1 year old. Well, I plan on getting her to take a bottle after a few weeks, but if not then 1 year. I'd rather exclusively pump once my milk comes in.

Six months. The other two are three and one and haven't stopped yet.
I weaned her so early because she had a lip tie and that shit hurt too much to continue but none of the doctors would fix it.
Now she has a chipped tooth and practically no enamel on her front two teeth.
