I'm in SoCal but I know my sister in law gets formula, then around 6 months baby food. Nothing else until baby's 1.

The packages depend on the situation. And age of child. They are different for formula fed babies and BF babies.

Not true. Mom's up to 6 mths postpartum get milk, eggs, cheese, juice, bread, beans/pb, cereal, and fruits/veggies. Moms who are BFing continue to get these foods. And cereal/baby food isn't given in most states until 6 mths now. Then the child gets the same foods as the mother once they turn 1.
