I TAMED MY CHILD

Taking toys away is far better punishments than all the "time-outs" and 1-2-3 magic and french disciplines and that one time I tried spanking and she only laughed.

YES! My almost 4 year old is now perfectly behaving. It's AMAZING.

She slapped the cat 3 times, she was laughing and wouldn't stay in time out. I got a trash bag from the kitchen and started loading it up. That got her attention. I let her cry in her room for 3 minutes, when she calmed down she started to cry about her toys and ask for them, I said she would get them back tomorrow but if she asked about them again I'll take another away.

And BAM! Perfect child. No more crying, and she asked me to sit with her a read a book.

I know this might be standard discipline for most parents, but I never took more than one toy away, and I never threatened to take more. Now she takes me seriously!

My kids dint have a bunch of toys, so that would never work. We have a few tablets, educational stuff, and they mostly play outside with friends.

Luckily my kids are great and we don't have to flip out on them very often.
