Your 8 yr old has soccer practice from 7pm-8:30pm. Do you drop him/her off and pick up later or stay there for the practice?

I used to drop my son off. I can't say if that's ideal for you. I knew the coaches well and was comfortable with it.

Depends on if I trust the coach but I'd probably stay

Depends on how well I know the other parents and if someone is okay keeping an eye on him.

if it was just a practice i would probaly do a drop and go, or bring a book or work to do and sit in the car.. If there was a scrimmage with the practice I would stay. A lot of it would depend on how far away the practice is. I live a mila and half from our complex so it wouldn't be a big deal to leave and come back.

Usually the parent has to stay there at soccer practice. Like the coach said he isn't babysitting(some parents on my ds soccer team were just dropping off their kid).i like to stay and watch my son practice
