My dd has gone to prom every year since she started high school. Freshmen year she had a senior bf, sophomore year an older friend invited her, junior year she went with a group of friends and this past weekend she went alone but ended up hanging out with a guy from band. All of my co workers think it's weird that she's gone every year, I don't honestly, she was asked and they paid for her ticket.

So it it really that weird? I never went to prom and was never asked

No. I know several people who went to multiple proms.

I went Freshmen and Senior year.  Same dress too, LOL.  We just had it altered a little bit.

Always had a blast.  First time, it was me and some friends.  Second time, I went with a guy friend (he later came out after graduation).  Always had fun.
