Both or none! only allowing one is not fair!

There's a children's ariel silks class starting up soon and both DD and DS want to attend. DH is fine with DD but wants to say no to DS.

I don't think it's fair at all. The class is open to boys and girls so there's no reason to say no besides sexism. I think he might give in and change his mind soon, I just have to find a way to word my side without sounding like I'm insulting dh by calling him sexist.

I have no clue what you're talking about. I let my kids try anything they want regardless of sex. My ex was a huge sexist.

I don't know what ariel silks class is but I would outright tell my husband he was being sexist.

Just tell him he's being sexist. Or, show him men that are successful and happy in traditional "women's" roles.

Arial? The Disney character really threw me of for a couple beats.

I wanna take that class!!

my advice is to ask him to explain WHY he doesn't want DS to do it, then ask him if he thinks he could say that too his son.
