Yes. They are teens. I don't really care. The mess they make annoys me, but it's not a huge deal.

They can eat in the kitchen, dining room or family room ONLY

Depends. If it is a dry food then sure but they have to being it out afterwards.

Sometimes, it depends on how I feel. It's easier when I am bed bound to have them upstairs with me.

No, they can't pick their socks up off their floor, I'm not losing my dishes in their rooms.
The idea of left over food in there also gives me the heebiegeebies

I allow my 14 year old to eat in his room because he is good about cleaning up for himself. My 7 year old, absolutely not. She took a sucker to her room without my knowledge and I had to cut it out of the carpet, I was so angry over that.
