So this year the highschool graduation ceremony is Saturday the 23rd. Now, usually the ceremony is shortly after the last day of school, But not this year.

This year they have to go back the following Tuesday at 2:45 (even though school lets out at 3:15) in order to make up the last snow day.

lockers are cleared out a week before school even ends. Once all testing is done its basically all fun/games/goodbye/how to prepare for next year

I'm betting we have even more kids skipping that last day.

Anyone else have a wonky end to the school year?

I always ditched the last day all through hs. Snow days were equated into the school year, so we could've possibly gone for more days if it was a mild winter.

They give our kids blizzard bags instead and the teachers will tell you to just sign the paper even if they don't do it. And around here attendance doesn't count on the last day of school in middle and high school.

We never had extra days because of snow. Our graduation was about a week after school ended.

The third week of June was standard graduation week on Long Island, but it's earlier in June or the end of May here in PA. This year we have a lot of snow days to make up, so last day is June 10th.
