Turning down a full paid tuition to an amazing school because...

because it's Christian.

My moron sister is doing this. My dad is a second generation alum of a great Christian school in our city. It's old and had a prestigious reputation. My sister and I went there too. It's his dream that he can pay for all his grandkids to go.

My sister just informed him that her kids won't be attending. Why? Because they need to take one religion class a year, and yes, they stick to less popular doctrine like homosexuality being a sin and such. I don't have a problem with my kids learning about our faith, but she rejected Christianity a long time ago and apparently won't even let her kids hear about it in a religion class...

Idiocy. My dad is super upset and her kids won't get he chance to go to an amazing school with all their cousins.

Sounds like an awesome reason to me.

I don't send my kid to school to have bull shit shoved down his throat or for him to be taught how to hate and judge.

Well, it's her choice. Maybe grandpa can talk about the chance to get a free education with his grands when they are older?

I'm pretty sure I would turn an offer down too if went against my beliefs. I can't see sending my children to an Islamic school.

It's a legitimate reason to not attend that school.
