Am I the only one who wants to tell the child to sit right in a public place? Come on I can't be the only one. I'm not there as they are 1500 miles away but the picture of her sitting with her knees above the table like that in a public place it's driving me nuts.

Picture: Taken from my aunts Facebook, is of my second cousin sitting at a restaurant I cropped her face.

That drives me nuts as well.  I make my own boys sit nice at the table, regardless of whether it is in public or at home.

No you aren't. I expect my skids to sit right..use forks and spoons appropriately. Not too much to ask. They must act civilized.

Same here, my 3 year know better then to put anything but her hand and mouth near your food. Feet stay on the floor unless your in bed in our home.

Drives me insane! Probably why I refused to take my kids out to restaurants more often. (I correct them at home too. But but I don't have to worry about offending anyone in public)

It would drive me nuts if it were my kid but since it's your cousin then I would try to let it go.

Yup, that would drive me bonkers even at home. Also she might knock that tasty meal on the floor with her knees. Lol

Right. Even at the family dinner table I expect some manners. They try me...using their hands to eat things that aren't finger foods..spaghetti..peas..but I put on my evil stepmom face and put a stop it.
Working towards the no flatulence thing currently lol
