am i responsible?

I took my 15yo dd and two friends to the beach this weekend. While there, one of the girls dropped her phone and it broke. The parents want me to either pay to get it fixed or replace it. I don't feel like it is my responsibility. I didn't drop the phone, she did.

Is this my responsibility?

No way at that age she's solely responsible for it.

It is definitely not your responsibility. The girl should be the one paying for it.

I just hope she doesn't say some shit like you gave her alcohol and that's why she dropped it because she was tipsy or some BS like that.
