A certified professional midwife, that is? Why or why not?

I work at a Natural Birthing Center and am becoming a Midwife so I guess I'm a little biased ;)

NO, 100% no.  I do not like them.  I am 100% loyal to OB's.

Yes..why not they have a ton of school and experience before they can deliver alone

A midwife delivered my DD, she gave me more one on one attention throughout the entire pregnancy and delivery. She also helped me deliver as natural as possible, including massaging as I was pushing to keep me from tearing, I barely tore.

No just my dr, the nurses, and my husband.

A midwife tried to oversee my dd's birth and things went dangerously wrong. She should have stayed out and went with the dr's plan for csection.

I did with my 5th son. My home birth was amazing and perfect.
