Was it worth it? Did the results last?

How much did that cost you?

So far yes. I lost over 70 pounds and kept it off until my last son (who is 1). Now I'm 10 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant with him. I lost it all, but gained back 10 after weaning him.

Do you have health issues that precluded traditional weight loss methods?

I was 236, went down to 211 right before the surgery, and got down to 140.

Did your insurance cover any of it?

A few co-payments and $200 for the nutritionist. I also pay $20 every time I have my band adjusted, but I haven't needed to do that in a while.

What was your surgery weight?

Nope, I tried those also. I was always as to lose some weight but then put it back on. My relationship with food was you gotta eat it all while its in front of you. The surgery has really helped me change that way of thinking.
