To have an ever ready supply of fresh basil. I watered it. I transferred it to a bigger pot. I put it in a sunny spot. I even talked to the blasted thing, and it stubbornly continues to die. What am I doing wrong?

That's the sunniest spot in the house. If I put it outside, bugs will eat it.
