Nico my one dog likes to get a hold of fabric and pull and rip it up.
Echo one of my other dogs likes socks etc - he doesn't put holes in them he just carrys them around, dish towels, socks, things like that.
But if Nico gets a hold of it he will rip it up and ruin it.
So I gave Nico an Old shirt of my husbands and he's going wild,
The second he begins to tear I sit him and take the shirt.
I wait 5 mins and give it back and as long as he just plays with it he keeps it.
Its been a few hours of this, and now he's just laying with it between his paws.
Who says you can't train the instinct out of a dog?
