When did you know that the relationship you were in was no longer working?

Just shy of 4 years. I moved out while he was out of town. Left all his crap behind. I got tired of supporting him. His mom was pissed, he had to move back in with her, lol.

He just wasn't very nice to me. Lots of name calling and harsh digs. I just couldn't stand the sight of him anymore. I divorced him after 8 years.

Before my husband and I married many many years ago we went through a super rough patch. My dd was extremely sick, I was laid off. It was hard (that's what she said)

I was taking my stress out on him he was in school and he had his own stress and not fully committed. We weren't seeing eye to eye

I just Knew. So we took an extended separation. It was best. We were able to work on ourselves and figure out if we even wanted to be together.

When you cannot talk to each other without screaming. When he walks in the door and you are annoyed. When you find yourself questioning him more than not.

It is probably time to start thinking about the relationship.

Be st of luck.

Let me add our separation ended well. We are now happily married. :)
