some woman ran the london marathon and had her period and didnt wear a tampon or pad.she crossed the finish line with blood running down her legs..she said she wanted to get rid of the stigma associated with your period..crazy or no?

She was bringing attention to the fact that some women don't have access to sanitary products.

Not only the stigma, but also to raise awareness for how many women around the world lack access to sanitary products. And santitation period.

Yes, a little crazy and gross. But everyone is talking about her and why she did it, right?

It does bother me how Western culture views a period. It's a joke, it's gross, it's something that no man should ever have to hear about, etc.

Sounds like an idiot activist.  People have lived for thousands of years with no tampons and didn't have blood running down their legs.  She conveniently wore red pants so she wasn't really looking to make a statement if you ask me.
