My son is scared of Mickey Mouse...

He still wakes up from nightmares and always tells me that he's scared that Mickey Mouse will eat him. He has always had this fear since he was a toddler. He would cry if Mickey was on tv.

We want to go to Disney Land this year for our Christmas break! We've never gotten to go because of our son.

Should we leave my son home? Or take him with us and tell him to get over his fear.

Our son is 14. And we have 4 other kids who really want to go.

Thank for you advice.

Wouldn't just leave him home but I certainly wouldn't make him face a fear like that so head on.
