DH lost his job yesterday.  We had a discussion last night and I told him that if he wants, he can stay at home with the kids.  We have a 5 year old in Kinder and a 2 year old and one on the way.  However, my stipulations will be...Getting ODD up and ready for school and either making sure she gets on the bus or drive her to school so that we save $15 a week on ESP, taking care of 2 year old and working with her at least 30 min a day on colors, numbers, letter, etc. like her sitter does now and that will save $500 a month in her childcare.  Also, I expect the house to be clean, laundry done, grocery shopping, and dinner cooked.  We have both always worked FT and divided chores in half so it won't be terribly different than usual.  When I say expect him to do all that does not mean I can't throw a load of clothes in the wash when I get home, clean up after he cooks and we eat, or getting the kids baths and bedtime stuff.  I think this all sounds fair.  What do ya'll think?
