Joint Facebook accounts

I am seeing more and more of these, and I honestly don't really get what the benefits are. I'd be annoyed getting notifications meant for my husband. And we have different interests, and more than a few different friends.

So if you do have a joint account, why does that work best for you?

We don't have a joint fb but I think it's more for people who don't get on it often and just want to stay easily connected to family.

I think it's tacky and pretty pathetic.

Mine was banned for a breastfeeding photo. I was too lazy to make a new email, make a new Facebook, upload pictures, add everyone, etc.

It feels pathetic to me for some reason.

My husband really doesn't like the social media thing.  He has a FB that I made for him, he never checks it. He's just not into it. I have my own FB.

I don't understand it. My husband and I did not meet until we were in our late 20's. We have different friends from our childhoods and 20's.

I usually wonder who cheated. That, or the keeping in touch with the family for people who aren't active on Facebook.

It is for people who don't trust each other.

I don't have a facebook. Dh does. It's not a joint acct, but I use it and people contact me through it.

I imagine the people that have joint accts just don't care to have two.

I have zero interest in sharing facebook with him. We both have a bunch of random groups that the other person doesn't want to hear about constantly, lol.
