I'm sick as a dog. Does anyone know how to quell a wet, phlegmy cough? I can't take Nyquil, DayQuil, or anything like that due to possible interactions with my medications and health issues. This cough just won't quit, and I can barely get a breath in before it starts back up. My doc can't see me until tomorrow. :(

Get a cool mist humidifier.

I don't try to stop coughs unless it's nighttime and I need to sleep.  It's a good way to get that gunk out of your chest.

Hope you feel better soon.

So I'm having issues with coughing too. I put 2tbsp raw honey, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, and 1tbsp lemon juice in some hot water. I drank it twice yesterday and I think I'm feeling a little better today. I'm about to drink it again. Hope you feel better!
