You are not having twins! It doesn't work like that!!

Both my mom and my sister seem to think my sister is having twins. She is about 14 weeks pregnant and according to my sister "all signs point to twins!" However, none of her ultrasounds so far show more than one baby. All heartbeat checks show only one heartbeat (with no echoes).

The reason she thinks she's having twins? She's eating a lot, and a lot more often that she usually does. And she started showing sooner than she thought she should. (She was a tiny size 0. Of course she is showing early!!) My mom seems to be agreeing with sister. I think they just want her to have twins. She's the "princess" of the family so they want her to be different. (Everyone else has singleton boys. She is insisting that she is having a girl and refuses to even think of the baby being a boy is possibility).

Wanting something doesn't make it true!!

So, who cares? If she wants to believe that let her.

Won't she be surprised when she gives birth. She can only be in denial so long.

Yep. Let them believe what they want to believe. They'll find out the truth soon enough.
