Maybe put it in the fridge. I wouldn't put it in the sink or anything until tomorrow.

It depends on what the temperature is where you live. Thanksgiving here it's com enough to take it out three days before and put it in a cooler on my deck. No more than four days before if you are putting it in your fridge. Put it in a roasting pan in case the plastic leaks so you don't end up with blood all over your fridge.

I don't think it will take over a month to defrost.

I've declared I will never do a turkey on Thanksgiving again.

I dont' even like turkey. i just make it because it is sort of expected and because they always go on sale around the holidays.

I'm getting Chipotle to cater my turkey day.
