1 mom liked this

We have taken our oldest on a 9-14 hour trip multiple times since she was 6 months old. Best advice I can give you is give baby a bath, put him/her in PJs, put baby in car, and drive all night.

Mine all started road tripping young. Just make sure to stop and feed and change often you'll be fine.

I did a 5.5 hour one when DS was 10 mo old. It was fine. Obviously, we couldn't drive it straight through as we had to stop for bf breaks and diaper changes, but it was really no big deal! To me, travel is a lot harder when they're 2-3 years old and they get antsy and need to go potty every five minutes, LOL!

Awesome. Pretty sure the night plan will be the way to go!

I took a 10yo, a 5yo, and a 5 WEEK old on a 10 hour road trip. But I also had a husband with me. Don't know if you will. Also, took said children on a 10 day road trip from south florida to ohio and back. Ages were then 11, 5, and 16 months. We survived.

I would definitely do it at night. That's what we did a couple times when we went on trips with my oldest as a baby.
Longest we did was about 7 hours.
