Weight loss in your 30's? I cannot lose weight. I am dieting and doing the elliptical. Any tips? I need to lose 40 pounds.

I have seen posts where people lose weight just by diet??! I am doing both and I can't lose weight. I just want to cry. The most I have lost is 4 pounds in a month and I went to bed hungry every night.

Switch up your diet/gym routine every few months. Your body gets use to it.

It works for us, we've been doing the plan on and off for about 8 months now. I've lost 27 lbs, DH lost 35. We take "breaks" every few weeks and then get back on the plan in order to keep the weight off.

Dieting isn't enough it's why you go to bed hungry everynight. Work out. Walk more.

If you're hungry, you're doing it wrong. Your body needs fuel. Mix up your cardio with resistance training. Building muscle not only helps the weight come off faster, it helps reboot your metabolism. To build muscle, you need protein and complex carbs.

Firstly, make sure you are eating enough. That will slow your weight loss faster than anything.
