Fridge open all night.. Is food bad??

We have a childproof lock on our fridge because my toddler wants to open it 6,000 times a day and pull everything out. So we put a lock on. Well last night my husband got something out of the fridge and didn't lock it back, so he didn't notice that the latch got stuck in between the fridge door. So it was unsealed all night. I noticed this morning. The part of the fridge where the lock is, was just a little cool, compared to the others parts which were very cold. I checked the food, everything seemed very cold still. The milk, chicken and cheeses I have in the fridge all felt very cold. The only thing i'm worried about is the butter felt very soft, although it was still cold.. It was a bit softer than normal. That made me worry about the rest of the food, is it safe to keep since it all felt cold still?

I would say it is all fine.  Butter doesn't have to remain cold anyways.

Don't see any problem with it. I sometimes leave my butter out all night. By accident my kids and dh and i are just fine.
