How do you store your potatoes and onions in the pantry

I use them the day I buy them. I'm no help.

Our old house had a corn crib. I stored them there.

In the bag in the pantry. (Aka coat closet with shelving on one side).

We usually buy what we need (as far as potatoes and onions) the week we need them... Otherwise I forget and they eventually go bad.

I have a basket I put miscellaneous pantry items in and that's where the onions usually end up. Then the potatoes are usually just left in a bag on the floor of the pantry.
