Has something you've seen on CM changed your life?

When I see the really serious posts, I wonder if anyone took the advice offered and whether it changed things for them... or if a post changed the way someone thought about a serious issue, like domestic violence or racism or the income gap or anything. Has this happened to you?

Not that I can recall, though I don't really post personal posts or questions here.

CM has been with me through it all...

Basically all of my Adult life.

You've seen me as a 24 year old newly pregnant woman who had no idea cloth diapers were still used, to a 32 year old  soccer mom of three ...

I've changed drastically.

Yes. I was kind of wishy washy on abortion. But I watched a lady in a private group years ago have a very wanted pregnancy diagnosed with potters syndrome. We kind of went through the struggle of abort or carry. She decided on late term abortion where they just induced her. The baby was born "alive" but had facial deformities and broken collar bones from the pressure of the uterus. It really affected me. After that no one will convince me abortion is always bad or immoral or should be illegal.

I got a lot of wonderful advice when I was pregnant the first time. I wouldn't say life changing, but extremely helpful.

I remember to tell my husband how much I appreciate him after some of the posts I see.

Nothing has really changed my life, but it makes me question a lot of other people's ability to parent.
