What kind of case for a tablet

I am getting DS the kindle fire for christmas. I'm looking at cases, but dont really know what to get. I see that there are kid proof ones, but they dont have a cover to cover the screen. The ones that do have the flaps that go over the screen seem less durable. DS is usually pretty good with his electronics, so I'm not sure if I need the durability of the kid proof one. I'm more worried about the screen I think.

What would you suggest?

He's 8 by the way.

My nine year old got a tablet last year, it's a Samsung but he has a case like this and we haven't had any issues:

Not much help, but I just got a case from Amazon. I don't even know what kind it is. When I got my Kindle, I just got a case at the same time.

Thats the ones I'm seeing for the kid proof ones. I dont like how the screen isn't protected though. I would think that is the most fragile part.

Otterbox makes great ones. I have Otterbox on my iPad and my phone. check and see what they have that would work with your device. They sell different ones with varying levels of durability. All are good though.

That sucks. I could've sworn I've seen them with screen covers, but it's been awhile since I got one.

1 mom liked this
He's dropped his, not from a huge distance and it's still in perfect shape. Get a carrying case if you plan to let him take it places.

We have this one:

I just have him keep it in that case when he's not using it so if it gets put in a desk drawer or something, it doesn't scuff the screen. Plus it has room for accesories.

Maybe something like this?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JQ0NCT6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1447703300&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=aceguarder+Kindle+fire&dpPl=1&dpID=51VLadjpgLL&ref=plSrch

Only thing is that one is for the older version, so not sure if it would fit and such.
