Look. I completely disagree. While something bad may happen if we let 100,000 Syrian refugees, there is a good chance if they really want in to do bad things-they can find a way. South border, north border, via the sea....there are many ways.
Never mind that they may already have agents that want to do harm for them, that are already here! In fact, that is the most likely scenario.

Good grief. The refugees aren't the enemy. The xenophobes are out in full force tonight.

If I gave you 100,000 grapes and one of them MIGHT have fallen on the floor, would you still eat them?

That is a truer analogy.

It's not 10 grapes. It's a hundred thousand and maybe a dozen or less are poisons, maybe not. But we actually have excellent strategies and countermeasures for neutralizing the poison ones. And eating the other 99,990 grapes, some of which are children, is the right thing to do.

It IS a responsibility of sovereign countries to shelter refugees. We have to do it.

Maybe if we hadn't shied away from taking in the THOUSANDS OF HOMELESS Central American CHILDREN we would be so busy taking care of them that we wouldn't have to worry about the scary Muslims.

Don't text and drive.

That doesn't mean you can look at your phone at red lights or stop signs or if you think you can do it quickly or if traffic's slow.  Just don't.  You're an adult.  Exercise some impulse control.  Quit driving like a 4 year old.

Can you make the poisonous grapes black? That way I won't eat those one's and I'll still get my grapes.
