This is not a religious debate. I don't care about anyone's actual beliefs here. My question is does The Story stay true to the Bible?

Eta: I guess we can open this up for more discussion. Do you think knowing the basics of the bible are important? I do. I think everyone should at least know the stories.

I haven't. To be honest this is the first I've seen anything about this book. I will have to check and see if my local library has it.

ETA. The library here only has it on audio book. So I searched amazon and found it, it has some pretty good reviews, with people saying it makes reading the bible more smoothly, it reads like the bible but in novel form. With out all the begats

i will have to order a copy it sounds like something that I would enjoy reading. Thanks for posting this

Never heard of it.  Is it like a condensed easier to read version of the bible or something?

Supposed to be a chronological account of the bible.

Would it be a good start for someone that doesn't know any bible stories? An adult and unsure of religion in general so he avoids it altogether, but he's lacking knowledge of the most basic stories. I was thinking of trying to get him to read it.
