I can't afford to take care of his kids.

I have a boyfriend and we live together he has 3 Kids and a step daughter that he claims as his own. He had been out of work for over a year and has been living off his small percentage of disability from the VA. I am currently the only employed person in this home I am a cashier at Walmart and a part time student. His children that literally live a few houses down come here every weekend but honestly I can't afford it. I don't have money to buy food for 4 ppl and he doesn't buy groceries for his children. I'm wanting to know is it wrong to ask him to tell their mother she needs to provide food for them while here or they need to come over every other weekend. He won't even apply for food stamps so I refuse to be responsible for his kids. I need some genuine advice. I'm already struggling to pay the bills and provide food for us.

He needs to contribute.  If not, time to cut your losses and walk the hell away.  No way should he be expecting you to foot the entire bill for everyone.

Fill out the fs application for him, tell him to sign it or get out.
