Question for those who go to church.

If you were deciding between two churches which would you pick

Church A has a strong youth program that your kids love. You and dh are okay with the service and other opportunities for worship for adults. It is a little bit of a drive.

Church B is smaller. No real youth program. Your kids aren't crazy about it. Closer drive. But you and dh love the services.

If the kids are bored they will never enjoy going. Now is the time to get them to love church. If you wait it will make it harder.

We have checked out numerous churches. We narrowed it down to these two.

Focus on the message. Are you being taught? Are you being taught the RIGHT things. Honestly, you need to PRAY and ask God to guide you in the right choice. Not some random freaking strangers. That's what GOD is for to guide you.

A because you can always volunteer to present a sermon to help things along

I pretty much only go to church for the kids and the activities.  I'd go to choice A.

Don't text and drive.

That doesn't mean you can look at your phone at red lights or stop signs or if you think you can do it quickly or if traffic's slow.  Just don't.  You're an adult.  Exercise some impulse control.  Quit driving like a 4 year old.

This is something we struggle with. We chose the church B. We just felt more at home there, although the children's program is weak. It's an older church- almost everyone is over 80 lol. They have recently brought in a younger associate pastor and he has two young kids and I think they're starting to really get involved in building up a children's program. Maybe that's something you and your husband could do- start helping build up the kid's stuff.
