Could YOU handle this? Pins and rubber pants?

I did take care of my nephew that wore prefolds and rubber pants.

For my own kids, I did pocket diapers.

Yeah, we did those for the first six months. Minus pins, though, they have better fasteners now. And the "plastic pants" have come a long way.

I could but I don't like the idea of pins. We use cloth anyway.

That's what they looked like when I was a child! I prefer cloth diapers now. Less chance of accidentally poking your child.

Of course I could, but I won't.

My mom did this with me. I'd always be so terrified to accidentally prick my baby. But I know some moms do it with no problem!

Of course. Prefolds are too expensive so I used those with my oldest 2.

We used prefolds with the snappi and fleece or wool pants/covers. I then made my own diapers - pockets and all in ones.

My baby brother is 6 yrs younger than me. I used to help my mother by changing him if she was busy. I also changed some of the babies I sat when necessary. I even tried to do cloth diapers with my first. Unfortunately, DS had an adverse reaction to the cloth diapers no matter how we cleaned them. We also went through a number of brands of disposible ones as well.
