My ex kicked out our 17 year old because she went and got an iud. He says because she's on his insurance he has all rights to her. Wtf? It's not costing you a penny more because she got the iud placed, she even paid her copay so wtf is the problem? She wants to be safe, how is there any issue?

Too bad he doesn't realize that isn't true...but I have to wonder how she got permission to have that done.  She's not 18 yet, and most doctors will not do that without permission from the parents.

I would rather take preventive steps than pretend a pregnancy would never happen. He should talk with his daughter.
