Question for divorced moms about child support hearing

Is there any reason it would benefit the mother that filed for support to be a no show at the hearing?

Soon to be exSIL did not show for the original hearing, so they dismissed her request. She didn't file again for nearly two months. Is there any way that this is a strategy of some sort? Or is she just a flake?

I don't think it's to her advantage to not show up, it's just a lack of follow through, flaky indeed

I went to all my court hearings but since we had reached an agreement the judge just approved it custody, visitation and support.

Who has custody?
My ex keeps dragging me into court so now its just meditation which he doesn't show up cause he forgets.
Ask for meditation

They split custody exactly 50/50.

Sounds like she's just a flake.
