I start soilds? My daughters doctor said to start blending fruit and maybe veggies.

Is it safe at four months to let her try blended fruits?

I don't. I wait until 6 months but I support parent's rights to choose. I guess try if you want and take cues from baby

The guidelines recommend that you wait until the baby is 6 months old.

People used to start at 4 months, that's what the guidelines recommended. My 3 older kids are fine. They're certainly no worse off for it. Don't start with mixed anything. Rice cereal for a week or two. Then maybe peas or carrots for a week or two. (used to be bananas, but peds recommend that you use veggies instead of fruits and more often than fruits). You need to introduce each food by itself, and allow time for an allergy to appear. Google is your friend.

I started at 6 months... Though my daughter never really ate baby food she wanted the real stuff and that's what I gave her.... My baby is 5 months I'm going to start her off with baby food ... Good idea to start with one brand at a time to see how they will react to it and start with veggies bc if you give them the sweets they will not eat the greens lol

We didn't start solids until 6 months. There really isn't a reason to do it any sooner.

I wouldn't blend foods. You need to know what you are giving her in case there is an allergic reaction.

Every child is different. You'd know your child better than we would right?

HELL NO. 4 months is far too early. Are you nursing?

Closer to 12 months is actually a better time reference clueless.
