We have a male cat. He is about 1. He has decided the whole house is his litter box. I'm so sick of cleaning up cat piss and poop.

We moved about a month ago but this behavior just started about 2 weeks ago.

I'm over it. He is about to be an outside cat if he doesn't stop.

Any advice to make him stop?

No idea but when we moved our cats box he was pissed and peed on my bed in my dh's spot.

He stopped on his own a few weeks later. Now he leaves dead and half dead mice.on my side of the bed because he loves me so much.

First take him to the vet to rule out a medical issue

It's the move. Every time we move, my girl cat will pee somewhere. He's dominating his environment. Is he neutered? If not, call the vet :)

We have an appt for next week.

I'm thinking it's the litter. SO bought arm and hammer last week and we usually buy tidy cats.

The litter could very well be the thing! My other cat - the male - will pee in the corner of the bathroom RIGHT OUTSIDE THE BOX if I buy a different litter than what he's used to. He acts like a tough guy, but he's such a delicate flower lol

The cat is being a total a hole the last 2 weeks.

SO thinks the brand of litter and food don't matter but they do
