what a lucky baby

I feel so complete. My child turned 2 today and is still breastfeeding. Not all day just a few times but I feel so accomplished. This is my first baby so it's definitely a mom win! I hope my next baby and mothering journey can be this amazing.

What makes you sit back and think wow what a lucky baby I have! In my opinion exclusively breastfeeding is one of the best most selfless gifts you can give your child. If you can't or choose not to nurse thats great too. Every family is different and there are many things that you can think your baby is lucky to have or have experienced.

I usually think about how I'm such a lucky mom..

DS is sweet, and dotes on me. He's smart, mostly well behaved, and has the most infectious laugh. He's a great kid and will do anything he can to help me out. I can't believe I've been blessed with such an amazing child.

I know, I'm being all mushy and corny.

I don't define things my children have experienced as being lucky.

*Spits drink everywhere* I shipped my youngest 2 off to the grandparents this week. The week was too short, should've made it 2 weeks.

Lol I'm headed to work conference next week and can't wait! Then in 3 weeks dh and I are going to Mexico for 5 days.

I love my kid I do but he's in this phase where he's constantly going "ehehehehehe" under his breathe. I'm about ready to karate chop him in the throat.
