First World Problem

I hate the weekend!
Because, I am a Sahm, that likes to workout but no matter what I am doing my kids constantly interrupt me!

I give them movies, snacks and toys they still won't leave me alone for 50 minutes.
My kids are 7 & 11!
Ugh!
This is my confession. Bash away!

At 7 and 11, they should be able to leave you alone for a hour. Discipline.

7 and 11 is old enough for consequences for that behavior. If they can't manage with movies and snacks and toys, then maybe they need FOB time...feet on bed.

Don't text and drive.

That doesn't mean you can look at your phone at red lights or stop signs or if you think you can do it quickly or if traffic's slow.  Just don't.  You're an adult.  Exercise some impulse control.  Quit driving like a 4 year old.

They're too old to be interrupting you. Start disciplining them.

They are old enough to leave you alone. Without a movie and snacks. Tell them to go play. Why are they so needy?

My kids are 5 and 9. If I'm on the treadmill they are playing, watching TV, whatever. If they come to me, I'm still running. If they need something I have to get they are told to wait.
