I don't submit to anyone, especially my husband.

I agree with the post. It is Biblically correct.

And? Don't run your family that way, but its not for you to say it is not right for others.

As long as everyone is happy who cares?

Did I read on here that you are on your second marriage? If so, was this the order of your first marriage?

Not once did I say what is and isn't right for other people. I stated about me.

Yah, it's Biblically correct and yes I agree with it. We structure our marriage like this and guess what, it works. I understand some people disagree with it. However, I get a little tired of people (not nessicarily saying you) insinuating that a woman living like this is allowing herself to be less than or can't possibility be happy etc.

I'm an atheist but I believe in traditional gender roles and the man being the head of the house IF that is agreed upon mutually by the couple. If it is forced, then it's wrong.

We all do marriage in our own way. What works for one couple may not work for another.

What you don't see here is that your husband is to submit to Jesus and love his wife the way Jesus loves the Bride.  The Bride being the Church.

So yes, I submit to my husband.
