Would you buy a house that is on the same street as a state-owned adult group home?

Depends on if it was a DMH or DDS group home. Id consider it either way but I would be much more willing if it was DDS

I would. And we did. They are no more of an issue than any other neighbors. The two biggest issues have been the beep beep the van makes at 6am when daycare picks two of them up. And one guy is annoying on a scooter always wanting.to talk nonstop. We hid from him for a while and now he gets the message.

There are a few group homes around the corner for dd and tbi adults. They are leased though. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary other than a few of them walk all day every and mind their business.

No. I don't want to live in a neighborhood that is running a business out of a home. There are multiple workers, inspectors and family members that would likely be in and out.

I like living far from people, as long as no one talks to me I could care less who lives where.
