Has anyone had.......

Just putting this out, i do have a referral from my Dr just waiting for a call for my appointment, probably in another month or 2..... Ok so this is going to sound strange, but you know when you re hungry and your stomach grumbles?? Mine doesn't, but my esophagus get really tight. Hurt tight. And i can barely get water to go down. Also when I'm eating, not matter how well i chew my food, again when i swallow it hurts. It takes a bit for my food to finally go down but until it does it sits there and really hurts. Just wondering if anyone has had anything like this.

Did your primary Dr do any kind of evaluation?

Usually they give you some sort of idea what the problem is... What kind of specialist are they sending you to?

Sounds like acid reflux, maybe an ulcer.

I do hope that they figure out what's going on with you and that you get well soon!!

Yup. I had it start in high school, then during pregnancy it was bad. Now I don't really have any reflux or issues swallowing.
