My dd is having problems with math mostly multiplication. Does anyone know of a fun website that she can use to help her?

Honestly, for multiplication facts, the key is practice, practice, practice. You can even download apps that go over nothing but multiplication facts.

How is she learning it? Is she learning the tables through memorization or is she learning it with the method of : 2x3 is 2 groups of 3?

My youngest is 7 and I homeschool. I found that using legos really helped her visualize it. So, for 2x3, she would make 2 groups of 3 and see 6 and then remembered that 2 groups of 3 is the same as 2+2+2 and equals 6. I did the same with division for her: 6 divided by 2 was 6 legos divided in half and that gave her 2 groups of 3 again...

You can try Kahn Academy online as well. A lot of homeschoolers use it as well as youtube believe it or not.

I use a variety ways of teaching it. We do groups, the adding method and memorization. I love flash cards
