My son was practicing for his band concert, my daughter was practicing festival music.... Now he's on his bells and she's on her flute and they are trying to figure out Hedwigs theme from Harry Potter. And let's not forget the drums! You have to be able to tune stuff out to live here!

Haha! That's awesome. My house is never quiet either, but we don't even have instruments yet.

I'm pretty sure the day the drums came home is the day the neighbors started plotting my death. We got an amazing deal though, it's like a $600 set that we paid $175 for. Yeah it's used and the wraps are a little messed up but it's still a great set. Especially for a beginner, my daughters band director couldn't believe we only paid $175.

I have 5 and 3 dogs, there's usually someone playing something or singing or just being loud.

It is I love that they have a love of music, we always have music playing in our house. My oldest is graduating and I don't know what I am going to do with my weekends, no marching band stuff for 2 years!

I'm really trying to get my 9 year old to pick something up, next year she can be in the school band. She's stubborn and says she doesn't want to do band, she wants to be in chess club...
