Work to live. Not lie & die.

Work to live, Not lie & die. Homelessness shouldn't be allowed because homelessness leads to suffering at the mercy of nature leading to an early grave. Round up all the homeless people and put them in Safety Net houses. That provide decent shelter, decent food & decent clothing. In return for basic work, such as growing & maintaining vegetable & herb gardens. Sewing on a machine,  knitting, making shoes, other items. Things that are needed for themselves, and all other people, who are poor, middle class & rich.

Where will the funding come from?

Not to mention, some CHOOSE to remain homeless, not wanting to stop.

Wouldn't that be nice? In a perfect world. But, then the to laters would have to pay more taxes to cover housing, utilities, medical, mental health treatment, drug rehabilitation, food, clothing, job training, etc. If you didn't know, the tax payers on cafemom/mom confessions do NOT want to pay more taxes.

How would this be any better than the shelters that already exist? Many homeless do not want to go to the shelter because it's dangerous and their only possessions are stolen. I actually watched a documentary on "tent city" where the homeless organized and built their own community. It was working really well until the city shut it down. I cried when they showed the city comming in to force out the residents.

What about issues that cause homelessness such as addiction and mental health?

Hmm, slave labor. America has done this before it didn't work out that well for the slaves.

This is one of those things that sounds great in theory and is an utter failure IRL.
