my ex is STILL trying to control me. i left because he was a controlling emotionally abusive fuck. its been 3 years since we split, my bf has been around for almost 2 years. my ds calls him dad (even though i did try to stop him, he's about to turn 5 so he's just calling the only man in his life dad). well my ex found out that my bf started living here (i just recently found out one of my ex's co workers live in the same complex i do) and is throwing a huge fit about the whole thing. threatening court.....dude you pay no child support, you've seen ds once since we split and it was on accident and you tried running away, and bf s the only dad ds remembers.

take me to court, you'll be forced to pay back child support and possibly jail time for abandoning your child.

He's an idiot. Ignore him and ignore the relative. If you could I would try to move. Do you all live in the same city? If he were to EVER take you to court, which I can't honestly understand anyone that ignorant, he would only embarrass himself.
Actually, if you want. I'd tell him since he wants to play games and make threats that you'll be going and filing for child support or he could get out of your life and leave you and your child alone and actually do the kid a favor and sign over any rights.

I'd say "I invite you to take me to court you miserable fuck."

Then I'd walk away.

Can you get a protective or restraining order? Or not yet?
