How Long Should I Wait?

A week ago today, I filled out everything online for a background check to be done on me for my new job.

I was told to wait for an e-mail once the check was complete so that I could pick a day for my training.

I haven't gotten anything yet though.

Is it too soon? How long should I wait?

The one e-mail I got says my start date is the 15th, but that it could change depending on my training. I can't start until I go to training.

Would tomorrow be too soon to call my boss and ask about it?

I don't think it would hurt to call.

Background checks can take a couple of weeks. However, I don't think there is any harm in calling and checking the progress of the situation.
