Serious Question- Please Help!!!!

My friend just called and asked me to take her daughter tomorrow and talk to her.

She walked in on her daughter touching the vagina of her younger sister.
She asked where she had seen that behavior and her daughter said at her dad's house.
She has also started peering her pants. She'll be 9 next month.

What kind of activities will make her feel comfortable enough to open up?

No she needs to contact the police and a child therapist would ask her those questions. It's her moms responsibility not yours.

Do NOT do this, you need to get her to a forensic interview.

Why would she ask you? She needs to call the police and have the police handle this, not you.

That child needs to be talked to by a professional, not you.

Don't do it! She needs to call the cops. Don't get yourself involved.

Her daughter loves me. Plus I was molested as a child.

Quoting MrsViau: Why would she ask you? She needs to call the police and have the police handle this, not you.

Take her to a professional. Start with a trip to the pediatrician who can address the pants peeing and ask the right questions to know where to go from there.

She needs to call the police, not a friend.

You need to stay out of this.  Don't ask her questions or she might be considered coached.  Take her to a doctor and have a professional interview adn exam done.  PLEASE do it quickly and with little ceremony so as to keep the child comfortable.
