Mom doesn't even have a kid who goes there!!

Met a mom who quickly said that I should opt my child out of the school he's in to the other school available when I told her what school he went to. Both schools have pros and cons, I chose the smaller school with a more one-on-one program for some hekp he needs. The other middle school is just more popular and in a richer neighborhood so it looks nicer. I love his school, so far, and all the teachers so he's definitely not switching. He'll be in HS in a year anyway so what's the point? The kicker is she doesn't even have a kid that goes to middle school!! Her oldest is 2nd or 3rd grade! I hate parents like that, no knowledge or personal experience with something but damn, they sure have an opinion! LOL What would you ladies have said to her?

She might have friends with kids that go there. Maybe she's a snob and only wants her kid to go to the "better" school. If your son is doing good don't worry about it.

You have no way of knowing what she knows or doesn't know.
She's entitled to her opinion about anything and everything, just like you are.
Just say okay, thanks, and change the subject or walk away.

She seems like a better mom than you.

My son is in second grade and I have opinions on the middle schools and high schools in the area. Besides having attended there myself I know people whose kids go there. I wouldn't make a scene, just tell her thanks but you're happy where he is at.

just smile and say, "Hm, that's interesting" or "Hm, something to consider, thanks"
